Montrose Harbor up north has a great view of the skyline and the bird sanctuary offers some really pretty greenery. Easy parking. Walking distance to the beach for a really good mix of photos.
Pretty greenery. The cactus room is one of my favorite places to photograph in. Although you need a permit and it's a little outside of the city center, it's great for a rainy day option. Take into account that the fern room is humid. We can either avoid that room completely or shoot in there last.
This place is huge. You can spend an entire day driving around and taking photos. I have a handful of specific spots I love shooting at here so that makes things move a lot quicker.
Gothic and modern architecture mixed together. Lots of different locations within walking distance. Easy parking. Easy outfit changing.
A big plus to shooting in the loop is that it's pretty empty during the weekends. Although a lot of it looks the same and it's very commercialized, there are a few unique pockets that I love to shoot in.
Lots of really great architecture and greenery at the South Gardens.
